Instant Pot Beef and Noodles reminds me of one of my favorite meals at a local family restaurant.  They serve a like meal in a silver dish that they bring to the table and serve information technology onto your plate tableside.  I don't know what it is about the gravy with the noodles, simply I have been craving it and idea...hmmm...I can brand that!!! So I did!

Tips for making Instant Pot Beef and Noodles:

1.Natural release the pressure.  EVERY recipe that I take found online for beef stew meat says to quick release at the end.  This cut of meat will be tough if y'all quick release.

2. Don't skip browning the beef before pressure cooking it.  It really does make a big departure.   I've made this recipe having browned the meat and not.  The browned meat comes out much more tender and juicy than the unbrowned meat.

3.When cooking pasta in the Instant Pot, feel costless to modify the pasta from the recipe.  If you like bowties- go for it.  If y'all like penne- go for it.  The trick is to look at the cooking times on the box.  Whatever the box says- cut information technology in half and subtract ii minutes.  Then, if the box says to cook for 10 minutes, you will cut that in half (5) and subtract 2.  All together you would cook for 3 minutes.

Ingredients for making Instant Pot Beef and Noodles:

  • ane pound beef stew meat
  • ½ cup diced onion
  • 1 tablespoon garlic-minced

  • 8 ounce package sliced mushrooms
  • 10.five ounce can beefiness gravy
  • ½ teaspoon table salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Directions for making Instant Pot Beef and Noodles:

  • 12 ounces wide egg noodles
  • Turn Instant Pot on sauté.  Once the pot is hot, add together oil.

  • Add beef and season with salt and pepper.  Saute beefiness until browned on all sides. You can use frozen beef, only effort to separate the beef pieces and brown on all sides.

  • Movement the beef over to half of the pot and add together onions to the other half of the pot.  Saute onions until tender- a little browning will add some great season!  Be certain to gently scrape off the footling chocolate-brown bits off of the bottom of the pot with a silicone spatula then that they do not fire to the bottom of the pot.

  • Stir beef and onions together and add together garlic.  Add together tomatoes, mushrooms, beef broth and, canned gravy.  Stir and close pressure cooking lid.

  • Cook on high force per unit area with valve set to "seal" for 20 minutes.

  • Once the timer beeps, let the pressure level release naturally for ten minutes. Quick-release remaining pressure and so open lid and stir.

  • Pour in noodles. Practice non stir!  Gently press the noodles down into the liquid.

  • Close pressure cooking lid and move the valve to "seal" position.  Cook on high pressure for five minutes.  When cooking pasta in the Instant Pot, feel free to modify the pasta from the recipe.  If you similar bowties- go for it.  If you like penne- get for it.  The play a trick on is to look at the cooking times on the box.  Whatever the box says- cut information technology in half and subtract ii minutes.  So, if the box says to cook for 10 minutes, you will cutting that in half (5) and decrease 2.  All together you would cook for 3 minutes.
